Marketing for Yorkshire commercial cleaning company

It was back in May 2018, when Advance Website Design (Mike Woodcock) was contacted by David Whan, the managing director of Harrogate and Leeds based It’s Clean Ltd, asking for a review of their existing website. Advance undertook the review, preparing a report on the site improvements required.

A meeting was then held with David where he requested that a detailed digital marketing proposal be prepared to include, a complete review of the marketing strategy and planning for the business, a rebrand, all new photography, new website, updating of social media profiles, updating of other marketing collateral and a new CRM system.

This extensive project has taken 8 months to complete, with the final piece of the jigsaw, 3 new videos for the It’s Clean YouTube Channel, Facebook and website, being completed in February 2019.

The first section of the project, the strategy and planning phase, involved a number of strategic review sessions with David resulting in a 26-page strategy document providing some clear direction to guide Advance through the review of all the marketing collateral for the business.

We then began work on the rebrand. This was a detailed process incorporating elements from the strategy as well as key stakeholder research in the form of an anonymised online questionnaire. Customers, staff and suppliers were all consulted during the branding process.

You can see the new logo below and the new branding has been rolled out to the offices, vehicle livery, work clothing, website, social media, brochures, business stationery and CRM.

While the new branding was being implemented, Advance began work on the development of the new CRM system for It’s Clean. The CRM is now in use and is already adding real value to the business.

We all recognised at an early stage, that extensive new photography would be required and Advance took photos at six Yorkshire locations.

With the photography complete, Advance drafted a detailed website and social media specification document for sign off by David, and then went onto to build the website, also undertaking the extensive Search Engine Optimisation involved. You can see the website by clicking here . It is already ranking highly organically on Google and Bing for many of the key search terms. In the most competitive market environments, Advance has developed and implemented a Pay Per Click campaign on Google Ads.

For the new videos for YouTube, Facebook and the website, Advance drafted the scripts, came up with a shortlist of voiceover artists and oversaw the editing of the videos. You can see one of the 3 videos below:

Advance is currently updating other marketing collateral for It’s Clean including flyers which are distributed extensively across Yorkshire.

Website design for new luxury resort

Advance Website Design has recently completed the build of a new responsive website for Panja Resort.

The facilities at the resort include the Horizon Restaurant, 360 Rooftop Bar, Prana Spa and the beautiful infinity swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers.

All the well appointed rooms rooms have air conditioning, balcony and all the basics like en suite, complimentary breakfast and TV.

Advance has also undertaken some of the photography as well as all of the photo editing, web copywriting and SEO.

Additionally, Advance has created and configured all the social media profiles and drafted posts.

The resort is already receiving bookings from all over the world and Advance will be working with Panja long term to ensure the business goes from strength to strength.

Shopify ecommerce website for renowned Yorkshire artist

Over the past few weeks Advance Website Design has been building a new website and online store for Yorkshire artist Anita Bowerman. The website was built using the Shopify ecommerce platform.

In addition to the new website, all of Anita’s social media has been refreshed and her online store is even linked to her Facebook page!

Anita’s work include beautiful paintings, drawings, paper cuts and stainless-steel artworks. Much of her art is also available as Giclée open or limited-edition prints.

The new site not only displays new artworks, but also a new for 2018 range of luxury hand printed cushions which feature Anita’s paper cut designs.

Anita undertakes art commissions and has worked with Virgin Money, The London Silver Vaults, Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Tour de Yorkshire, The Grammar School at Leeds, Ashville College and William & Victoria Restaurant amongst many others.

Anita owns and manages the Dove Tree Art Gallery & Studio in Harrogate as well as tutoring art classes.

Advance Website Design has recently completed a new website for a major landscaping services and garden centre business.

The site is already ranking at number 1 on Google for all key searches!

The website includes pages detailing the landscape design and installation services offered by the business as well as a portfolio page showing the range of resort, commercial, government and residential projects undertaken by the company. The company also undertakes landscape maintenance on projects they have completed and those completed by other landscape contractors.

Website design and other marketing for Wayne's Cup

Following the recent completion of the logo for Wayne’s Cup, a café and life skills centre dedicated to the development of adults with special needs, the brochure and website have now also been completed.

Advance Website Design was given the brief the create a brochure, with the principal aim of creating an awareness in the local community of this new project and to encourage adults with special needs to sign up for the many development programs on offer. The brochure was delivered on time and on budget and has now gone to print.

Advance was also asked to design a completely bespoke website, undertaking all the web copywriting as well as extensive photo editing. The objective of the site was twofold; get adults with special needs signed up to the excellent programs on offer as well as promoting the café itself. Additionally, Advance undertook all the SEO for the site.
